About the Practice

About Harbor Point Counseling

Most people don’t begin therapy because something is “wrong.” They reach out when life starts to feel overwhelming, heavy, or out of balance.

You may find yourself constantly worrying, feeling emotionally drained, struggling in relationships, or repeating patterns that are difficult to change. Even highly capable people can reach a point where managing everything alone becomes exhausting.

At Harbor Point Counseling, therapy offers a space to slow down, gain clarity, and develop practical tools to move forward with greater confidence and emotional balance.

Our approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. We work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and relationship challenges. The goal is not only to understand what you’re going through, but to help you build the skills needed to navigate life more effectively.

Our work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which supports emotional regulation, distress tolerance, improved relationships, and mindfulness. Through this approach, clients develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and lasting change.
